«Putin sarà il prossimo presidente»
Lukashenko ha inoltre affermato che il conflitto «Si può fermare ora». Secondo il presidente bielorusso, Putin sarà rieletto presidente in Russia: «Penso che Putin sarà il prossimo presidente. Le elezioni saranno tra sei mesi, nessuno al momento è in grado di sfidarlo». Lukashenko giovedì 17 agosto ha incontrato il ministro della Difesa cinese Li Shangfu.
